Why Pura Fons Was Born

Hello! I'm Rita Geraerts, founder of Pura Fons.

My professional background is in the packaging industry, where I spent many years working closely with the food processing sector. During that time, I saw and heard things that simply didn't feel right. More and more often, I began to question whether what was being produced truly served people's health.

I grew up in a pharmacy, where I learned early on that every medicine comes with side effects - and that we often only begin to understand the full consequences of long-term use after decades. That awareness stayed with me.

Over twenty years ago, I started to dive deeper into the connection between health and nutrition. This journey became more personal and more urgent following my own history of chronic bladder infections and through supporting a partner living with MS. I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find reliable information and to access clean, high-quality supplements without marketing noise or conflicting interests.

I knew there had to be a better way.
