Cilantro (Coriandrum Sativum) originates from North Africa and West Asia. It grows wild in southern Europe and Asia Minor. Coriandrum Sativum is an annual herbaceous plant 20-70 cm high with a thin fusiform root. The stem grows up straight, round, thinly grooved, glabrous, and branched in the upper part. Inflorescence is a complex umbrella with three to five rays. The flowers are small, and white or pink. Cilantro blooms in June – July.
